After recovering from a serious medical condition, I experienced firsthand the challenges of maintaining financial stability during difficult times. This personal journey ignited a deep desire within me to support others facing similar hardships. Later, as a dedicated government employee, I was unexpectedly laid off during widespread administrative cuts that affected many, including numerous veterans. Witnessing the profound impact these layoffs had on individuals who had honorably served our country strengthened my resolve to make a difference.
Drawing upon my expertise as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), I established the Second Chance Charitable Foundation. Our mission is to provide affordable, high-quality tax and accounting services to underserved communities, particularly low-income individuals, seniors, people with disabilities, and veterans. By empowering these groups with essential financial knowledge and resources, we aim to help them achieve financial independence and stability, ensuring they have the support needed to navigate life's challenges.
